Extra Virgin Olive Oil (organic)
This premium organic extra virgin olive oil holds the storied region of Istria in every bottle. Hand-harvested and milled within mere hours using Mori-Tem technology, the olives come from 3,000 local Istrian olive tree varieties of Leccino, Pendolino, and Rosinjola. Istriana controls all aspects of production to preserve the integrity and authenticity of their oil. Their signature red bottles are colored with a proprietary paint containing the rich, red earth of Istria. This was inspired by the amphorae of Roman times, honoring the region’s centuries-long tradition of olive oil production. Istriana’s extra virgin olive oil blend is medium-bodied with aromas of freshly cut green grass and a prominent green vegetal flavor. Tasting notes include arugula, kale, bitter herbs, celery leaves, and a peppery polyphenol finish.
